Things have been very crazy lately for Kristina and myself with all the PTO and work stuff so we are playing catch up.
Friday is passed but I had this great idea for Fabulous Friday. As you know Kristina does not always find herself fabulous like she should and when she picked her top ten pictures out of our Top Ten Tuesdays I noticed that not one of them was of her. This got me to think that I would dedicate this Fabulous Friday to the fabulous Kristina. Here are her Top Ten Photos with new captions.

A Fabulous Altar Contains Exactly What a Witch Needs
“What are you doing?” asked a voice that shouldn’t have been there yet.
I ignored the sound, and kept my eyes closed.
“I know you aren’t sleeping, Magaly. Your eyeballs aren’t doing that rapid wiggling REM thing.”
What? I hissed a sigh. “I’m thinking about the wands I got from Mina the other day.” I tried to hold back the annoyance that threatened to burst out of my nostrils, but failed. “You are never early. Why are you early today?” I’m not the friendliest of creatures when people interrupt my Magaly time—unless you are my Piano Man, in which case you can poke me any time.
“What wands?” My friend actually pulled my left eyelid open. “Is it for a new story? I haven’t seen them.”
I glared and snarled, but sat up in the end. The grass had tickling my neck anyway. “They are on my altar at home.”
“What do you keep on your altar, and how you know it belongs there?” She smiled at me.
I considered imploding… right after strangling her. Like I said, I’m not the sweetest of beasts when my thinking time is interrupted. Then I remembered I was supposed to write a guest post about altars for The Sacred Village, and in a few minutes the exchange told me exactly what I wanted the piece to be about. “The perfect altar has everything I need.” I chirped, and flashed that huge grin that sometimes scares people, but that shouldn’t because it just means that I saw something that had been there all along, and the find made me really happy. I realized that a fabulous altar contains exactly what a Witch needs.
I explained to my friend that my witchy needs tend to change. For instance, I didn’t think I needed a wand until I got two from my Green Witch with Sprinkles. Now that I have them, I know my altar would be empty without them.
When I lived alone, my altar was, well… womanly. Once my Piano Man and I made a home together, my altar became a balanced mix of male and female everything: the Maiden has a young Pan, the Mother has a Wild Horned God, and the Crone is sweet on her Old Man Death. My altar is a happy circle of life, formed by tools and things that have been made, given, and accepted with love.

As you know that every Friday we write about something fabulous. It could be a song or a person, or even a great book. This week however I had to write about someone who is super fabulous to both Kristina and myself. Her name is Sheryl, and we actually met her years ago but it wasn’t until this last year that we realized how fabulous she really is.
I can not tell you just how great she is… Oh wait… Yes I can
Sheryl is the woman who everyone wants to be. She is smart and funny and has the most beautiful personality you will ever find. She is an awesome mother, fiancé and friend.
A few examples for would be right after I bought my new house all of my cleaning supplies accidentally got left at my old house and we were broke with all the housing cost and Sheryl let me come over and raid her supply closet. Everything was brand new, top of the line products and she gave me tons and didn’t charge me anything. Another time Kristina found out that her ex-boyfriend gave her some Wiccan book that he supposedly got for her and she came to find out that he had stolen them from Sheryl. Kristina of course was horrified and gave the books back with a huge apology and Sheryl smiled at her and said thanks and then loaned her some different books.
She is a great friend who throws barbecues for us and watches our kids when we need. There need to be a lot more Sheryl’s in the world.

THE ONLY TIME I HAD A PROBLEM WITH SHERYL WAS WHEN SHE TRIED TO TAKE MY BOYFRIEND

This Fabulous Friday I want to talk about a very fabulous woman I know. You all know her too as she is my best friend, business partner, co-worker and soul mate. Kristina and I have been friend for over 15 years and she is fabulous for her heart and the way she treats people, she is an amazing mother and daughter, sister, and friend. She will make you laugh and cry all at the same time, so in honor of this fabulous Friday I am going to talk about how she makes me laugh.
I know this will sound horrible but one thing that she does to make me laugh is she falls down. Not on purpose it is on accident and yes this sounds horrible but it’s the things she does to fall down that crack me up. I have a couple stories to share with you that I hope will make you laugh as well and also point out what I am talking about.
The first time I realized this was not back in high school but was actually in college. It was the end of winter and we were leaving class and going to head to lunch. Now for those of you who are not familiar with Moses Lake, you should know that we usually have mild winters with not much snow and it’s mostly just cold. This winter was almost over and there was no snow left to speak of. Well no where but one spot of frozen snow that had been left by the snow plow that was not completely melted yet. This was not a small spot but it was off to the side of the parking lot and very visible. To everyone except Kristina I guess because when walking to her car she decided to walk over it. I don’t know why since there was no need but all and all she walked over it which of course was frozen and made her slip. She slips and falls smack on her back and her backpack goes flying. She is laying there going “Owe” and I can’t help it but I start laughing my ass off. Then this guy from the other side of the parking lot comes running over yelling are you all right and to help her up. Of course I am getting looks of pure hatred shot as me as I am crying from laughing so hard. Now if that story still makes me sound bad a few days later after class we decide to go to lunch again. We walk out to our car and this time Kristina does not walk over the snow mountain. We separate to go to our own cars and I get in mine and buckle up and look in my review mirror to see if she is at her car yet and I don’t see her, assuming she was fast I put the car in reverse and back out of my spot and continue to drive off. I look back in my review mirror and see her sitting on ground with her backpack flung and a look of embarrassment on her face. Once we got to the restaurant I asked what happened and she was all “Oh I fell again.” This got me thinking of how often she fell and she informed me that it happened quite often. Since then I have been around to see her fall a lot. It’s always different and amusing such as one time she fell in a hole in my back yard while drunk, another time she was drunk and fell out of my car at a stop sign. Sometime she trips over rugs, fuzz balls, and her shadow. Every time I laugh and of course people give me the glare like I am so evil but if you know Kristina you know its just part of her personality. She is awesome and fabulous and I am very thankful to have her in my life.
